Artist's Description

"Dagga Boys" or "Debit Collector" are their nicknames, Meaning Big Bully covered in Mud or thick clay which they wallow in the heat of the day around small ponds or larger bodies of water. Often found in lone bachelor groups. Or in breeding herds of many 100s. Bulls are especially unpredictable when startled and will charge in a moments notice.
Lone Bulls are temperamental and are know to be one of the most dangerous Big 5 animals' in Africa.
Always a special image when processed into Black and White or Colour for your exclusive Safari Lodge décor!

Keith Carey. Wildlife Artist & Photographer. South Africa. Born in Salisbury, Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) in 1965. In early childhood he was exposed to Africa's magnificent wildlife. Canoeing trips down the mighty Zambezi River, offered extremely close encounters with wildlife such as lion, elephant, buffalo, black rhino and the notorious hippo. Emigrating to South Africa, 1984. Keith has worked as a Senior Corporate Executive in IT (+25 years), and Safari Guide in Pilanesberg National Park.
