Burchell's Zebra. Always a wonderful black & white subject. Especially close up. Photographed on an open bushveld plain in South Africa. Black & white brings a minimalistic feeling to this striking image. Keith Carey. Wildlife Artist & Photographer. South Africa. Born in Salisbury, Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) in 1965. In early childhood he was exposed to Africa's magnificent wildlife. Canoeing trips down the mighty Zambezi River, offered extremely close encounters with wildlife such as lion, elephant, buffalo, black rhino and the notorious hippo. Emigrating to South Africa, 1984. Keith has worked as a Senior Corporate Executive in IT (+25 years), and Safari Guide in Pilanesberg National Park.
